CLS offers instrument training using our light scattering instrument. Training sessions can be arranged on an individual basis with the facility operator. During the training, the student will learn how to safely and effectively use the light scattering instrument. Introduction to the current data gathering and analysis software will also be included. Any user who intends to use the instrument without the facility operator's supervision must successfully complete the instrument training.
All users must attend the Laser Safety Training Course offered by Environmental Health & Safety at extension 7-2955. Nobody will be allowed to use the instrument unless a copy of the Certificate of course Completion is on file with the CLS.
